Quy Nhon Beach
Quy Nhon is a city with many beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Among those beaches, it is impossible not to mention Hoàng Hậu (Empress) Beach.
This beach is so named because Empress Nam Phương, the last queen-consort of the Nguyễn dynasty, chose it as her private beach because of its overwhelming, surreal beauty. Unlike the traditional sand-and-sea combination, the beach is made up of black stones, smoothed by azure water lapping against them for eternity. (These stones also earned the beach another name, Egg Beach.) There are many beautiful and strange works of art created by nature here: a human face, a lion facing the sea, and two massive stones stacked precariously atop each other.
