Facing the East Sea, Vietnam boasts an impressive 3,260 km coastline that is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, beloved by locals and visitors alike. However, thanks to its widespread fame, finding a relaxing spot on the beach might be difficult when they’re filled with holidaymakers. If you have a plan for Vietnam 10 day itinerary, here are some beautiful beaches in Vietnam that you should come to at least during your trip.

Phu Quoc Beach

Phu Quoc is the largest island in the westernmost part of Vietnam. This is considered the island with the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.

The most notable is Bai Khem or Bai Kem beach, with great views, located in the south of the island. This beach is also recognized as one of the best in the world.

In addition, Bai Dai (Bai Trong) is also a place worth visiting, especially suitable for those of you who love casual and relaxing swimming activities.

Da Nang Beach

Da Nang is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, and there’s a lot of it: Mỹ Khê beach alone stretches languidly for over 900m along the coast. Here, the sand glitters in the clear, cool blue water, bathed in sunlight. You can splash around, swim in designated areas, or simply rent a deck chair, sit back with a good book, and relax under an umbrella. Fresh seafood is available in any of the restaurants lining the street opposite.

Con Dao Beach

Con Dao, is known to all as the location of the brutal French prisons. However, in Con Dao, there are also many beautiful beaches.

If you’re a nature lover, you won’t want to miss witnessing the release of baby turtles at the beach of Bay Canh island. Scores of sea turtles arrive in these stunning, pristine waters to nest and breed every year between July and September. There are almost no tourist facilities except for a guided tour to see the turtles, led by rangers with strict requirements. If you’re careful and respectful, you can watch them lay eggs, and even help them with the delivery! In the morning, the rangers and tourists will release hundreds of newly-hatched baby turtles into the deep blue sea.

Quy Nhon Beach

Quy Nhon is a city with many beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Among those beaches, it is impossible not to mention Hoàng Hậu (Empress) Beach.

This beach is so named because Empress Nam Phương, the last queen-consort of the Nguyễn dynasty, chose it as her private beach because of its overwhelming, surreal beauty. Unlike the traditional sand-and-sea combination, the beach is made up of black stones, smoothed by azure water lapping against them for eternity. (These stones also earned the beach another name, Egg Beach.) There are many beautiful and strange works of art created by nature here: a human face, a lion facing the sea, and two massive stones stacked precariously atop each other.

Nha Trang Beach

Due to its remote serenity (49 km from Nha Trang City Center), pristine seawater, and a long stretch of white sand, Do Let is ranked among the top beautiful beaches in Vietnam and the most beautiful beach in Nha Trang. Besides the 6 km in length with silky white sands and crystal-clear water, the beach is surrounded by many casuarina trees and allows us to camp on the beach which makes Doc Let a perfect choice for nature lovers.

Plus, the ride from Nha Trang City Center to Doc Let is stunning with mountains, fishing villages, and coastal views, and if you wonder how salt is made, stop by Hòn Khói to eye-witness one of the most beautiful seas of salt images in the world.

Vung Tau Beach

Concerning the city with the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, it is impossible not to mention Vung Tau. This city is in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Southeast region, Vietnam.

Ho Tram is a long coastline located between Long Hai and Binh Chau in Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province (about 120km from Ho Chi Minh City). Ho Tram Beach is not noisy, and bustling but charming by the clear blue water and smooth white sand, creating a wild but very gentle beauty. This is an extremely new destination that tourists should explore when they have the opportunity to travel to Vung Tau.

Phu Yen Beach

A reasonable alternative to the much more touristy Nha Trang, Tuy Hoa is the capital city of Phu Yen province, Vietnam, a local favorite with its comparatively untouched beauty. The ocean-facing April 1 Square is an event space, public park, and hangout spot that hosts fantastic light shows with its musical fountain in the evening. That part of the beach is often crowded with locals and tourists alike, but just 1 km away is a more secluded beach. Multiple stretches of white sand overlap each other to create a beach about 10 km long, most of which will deliver moments of peace to relax amid nature.

Tuy Hòa Beach is beautiful, but if you still want to spend your time in a quieter spot, Bãi Nồm wouldn’t be more perfect. Bãi Nồm is favored by nature with the pure beauty of the surrounding mountains with pristine beaches, romantic stretches of white sands, and many other beautiful scenes. From a distance, you will see the casuarina forest interspersed with hills and covered with mountains at the top. Once you get your first step on the beach, you will be impressed by the unspoiled and captivating natural landscapes, crystal-clear water, calm waves, and silky white sand.

The climate here is very mild and pleasant so visitors can travel here in any season of the year. However, if you go from April to August, seawater will be the clearest and coolest. August to December, will be suitable for those who like windsurfing and adventure sports.

The sand is small but very airy and quiet, suitable for relaxation. Especially the water here is clean and clear, the scenery of the sky is cloudy, and the water is beautiful.
