Can you help me build a custom travel itinerary for 2 weeks in Southeast Asia, focusing on Vietnam?
Absolutely. A two-week Southeast Asia itinerary centered on Vietnam gives you enough time to experience the country's diverse landscapes while adding a neighboring destination such as Cambodia.
If you'd like a ready-made option, you can refer to our 14-Day Discover Vietnam and Cambodia for a well-balanced itinerary that covers Vietnam's highlights comfortably and flexibly.
If you prefer a private, fully customized journey, Ftrip Vietnam can tailor the itinerary to your travel style, pace, and budget. We can also combine Vietnam with Cambodia, Laos, or Thailand while arranging hotels, transportation, guides, and unique local experiences throughout your trip.
How can I plan a custom travel itinerary for my trip to Vietnam?
Planning a custom Vietnam itinerary starts with identifying the type of trip you want rather than simply choosing destinations.
A simple planning process includes:
- Decide how many days you'll spend in Vietnam.
- Choose your preferred travel style, such as culture, food, luxury, adventure, photography, or family travel.
- Select the regions you want to visit: North, Central, South, or a combination.
- Set a realistic budget.
- Leave enough free time instead of trying to visit too many places.
Many travelers also choose to work with a local travel expert who can recommend seasonal destinations, arrange transportation, and customize experiences based on personal interests.
At Ftrip Vietnam, we design personalized itineraries that match your pace and preferences, helping you enjoy a smooth and stress-free journey.
How much does a customized Vietnam tour cost?
The cost of a customized Vietnam tour depends on several factors, including travel season, accommodation level, transportation, group size, and the type of experiences you choose.
As a general guide (excluding international flights):
- Comfort (3–4★): From USD 120–180 per person per day
- Premium (4–5★): From USD 180–300 per person per day
- Luxury (5★): From USD 300+ per person per day
A typical 10–14 day private tour for two people usually includes accommodations, domestic transportation, English-speaking guides, entrance fees, and selected meals.
At Ftrip Vietnam, every itinerary is quoted individually, so you only pay for the experiences and services you want. Whether you're planning a honeymoon, family vacation, photography adventure, or luxury getaway, our travel specialists can create a personalized itinerary that fits both your travel style and budget.

Vietnam is a year-round destination because its climate varies by region.
Generally:
- March to April: Excellent weather across much of the country.
- September to November: Cooler temperatures and beautiful landscapes in Northern Vietnam.
- December to April: Dry season in Southern Vietnam, ideal for Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta, and Phu Quoc.
