Kimleng Sang’s journey to his career path now is an interesting story. Photography first found him when he worked in Siem Reap as a tuk-tuk driver at the beginning of the 2000s. There he met many international professional photographers who were seeking Cambodian uniqueness and authenticity rather than the well-worn tourist tracks. Along with his great knowledge of his motherland and a deep understanding of what international photographers were looking for, he developed a series of tours throughout Siem Reap & Angkor Wat that catered to their particular interests.

Since working close to many professional photographers, his sense of curiosity for the role grew significantly and he started practicing photography himself as well as having many Western tutors to sharpen his skills. And now, Kimleng Sang is one of the most well-known professional photographers and a lead photography guide in Cambodia for over a decade. Knowing the country well, and knowledgeable about what he does, Kimleng won’t let you go home without stunning images and wonderful memories of Cambodia.
