This journey will take you to from bustling Saigon to Cai Be and then the hub of the delta Can Tho, to discover why the region is world-famous for fishing, rice farming, and tropical biodiversity. Visit a small homemade coconut factory, cruise on a converted rice barge and take a sampan ride through the waterways of Mekong Delta.

Cai Rang floating market is the most famous market in the Mekong Delta. Considered as one of the ten most impressive markets in the world, this market is full of Mekong lifestyle and culture, where you can feel the real beat of the life on the fertile Mekong River.

Our guide and driver will pick you up at the airport, be aware of the person with the pickup signboard. And then heading to the center of Saigon (former by Ho Chi Minh City) to start the city tour. Our first destination is War Remnants Museum: visit the museum to understand the context of the war with the USA and its devastating impact on Vietnamese civilians. Within the 1.700m2 area, the museum will remind visitors about the Vietnam war through old weapons and other military equipment. Departure to Reunification Palace: named in global history in 1975, a tank belonging to the North Vietnamese Army crashed through its main gate, ending the Vietnam War. The palace was built for the South Vietnam Government during the American Vietnam War. It is an architectural complex of command bunker, secret rooms and lush gardens. Then, going to Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post Office that famous for beautiful architecture from the French colonial period. If the time’s permitted, we continue heading to China’s town to go to Thien Hau Temple - a temple dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess, Mazu. The interior has colorful roof decorations by representing scenes from the nineteenth century in a Chinese city. Moreover, the most well-known interior design work which dominates the main altar is the three statues of the ‘Lady of the Sea’. We back to hotel for relaxing after an exciting day. After having breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive around 2 hours to a local village by the Mekong River. We will make a stop break on the way for refreshments. After getting to the destination, we get on a motor-boat. Taking your time to enjoy the beautiful views of Mekong River which consists of a vast network of canals and channels. Be welcome to visit some local cottage industry: snake wine, pop-rice, rice paper... A hand-rowing sampan will take you to one of the islands, which is on the other side of the Mekong River. It's a chance to visit a tropical fruit garden while listening to Vietnamese traditional music. Enjoy lunch with the 5-course menu set of Vietnamese food, then going to Can Tho in the afternoon. Upon arrival, your guide will help you check in to hotel. Enjoy your peaceful and relaxing time. Overnight in Can Tho.
Early morning, Your guide will take you on a boat to the biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta - Cai Rang Market. Check in to the great vintage-style bridge across the river which will be a special background for photography. This is a wholesale market with hundreds of boats filled with mango, coconut, durian, pineapple. Discovering their unique way of advertising: people hang their selling goods so that they can be seen from a distance. Small boats that sell beer, wine and soft drinks go among the other boats to serve market-goers and visitors… We are going back to Saigon and having lunch at a local restaurant. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy your free-time. Overnight in Saigon.
Enjoy of a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Free at leisure until our driver and tour guide come to transfer you to Tan San Nhat International Airport for departure. It times to say goodbye. Ends of service.
