    Day 1:

    Hanoi – Duong Lam – Long Coc (L, D)

Your shared or private tour will begin as you are picked up from your hotel or meet us at a suggested place in the Old Town at around 7:30-8:00 and head to Duong Lam village, the “land of two kings”, where the two Vietnam’s king Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen was born. This village was the first ancient village to be recognized by Vietnam’s government as a national historical monument. After that, we will make our way to Long Coc which is considered one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam. Spend sufficient time at the tea hill to capture the best moment of the endless green and the romantic sea of clouds resembling fairytale scenery. Walk around the village to meet the locals and feel their warm hospitality before heading to our homestay where we will have a delicious home cooked meal for dinner.

    Day 2:

The spectacular rice terrace fields in Tu Le & Mu Cang Chai (B, D)

Wake up early at around 4:30 to capture the stunning sunrise over the endless tea hill if you wish. After breakfast, we will leave Long Coc for Tu Le. Like La Pan Tan, De Xu Phinh & Che Cu Nha during the golden season of terraced fields, in September and October, Tu Le shines a bright yellow color on ripe rice fields. The rice terrace here is not lying on the hills or deeply hiding in the valley but it brings a feeling of closeness and reach out of your hand. After lunch, we will make our way to Mu Cang Chai to see the most beautiful rice terrace in the world and explore tribal authenticity. The unique and stunning yellow rice terrace was cultivated by tribal people including Red Dzao (Dao), Nung, Tay, and H’Mong thousand years ago. The place with a long agricultural tradition and authentic tribal ethnics make Mu Cang Chai become one of the “cannot miss” destinations in Northern Vietnam. Join our guide on an easy trek through breathtaking yellow rice terrace fields and ethnic hill tribe villages. If you dare, there is an opportunity to do Paragliding on one of the most beautiful rice terraces in the world.

(If you wish to wake up early for sunrise, please inform our guide beforehand). Feel free to wander around the area to find your best photography or view position. Specialties: Culture, landscape, portrait, hiking, active and adventurous tour

Besides my unlimited passion for traveling, a professional tour guide for over a decade, I have been taking photographs since sitting at Hanoi of the University of Culture in the early 2000s. Photography started as a hobby but it was seriously taken due to my work relations and my significant passion for the beauty of our world, especially in Southeast Asian parts such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

Within a few years of taking photographs, my works began to be recognized by many reliable international publications such as AFAR Travel, The Times, and The Daily Telegraph newspaper. In addition, I continuously add to my growing profile by winning numerous major awards: 3rd Position of The Independent Photographer 2018, 1st Position of Amateur Photographer of the year 2018, Grand Prize Winner of the AFAR Travel Photography 2019, and a Gold Award of San Francisco Bay International Photography 2020.

I photograph a wide variety of subjects, from travel to landscapes to street scenes. I enjoy documenting the East’s rich cultural heritage and its land soaked in glorious sunrise or sunset light in remote and secluded spots. And, I am very happy to share my knowledge and experience with you. You can visit Luminousvietnamtour to explore tour!
