DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
You are met and transferred to hotel in Ha Noi. If time permits, we take a cyclo ride for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. O/N in Ha Noi.
DAY 2: HANOI - CITY TOUR (B,L)
After having breakfast, the first destination is the Temple of Literature. It's not only the first university in Vietnam, but it always is the fire to light up the traditional fondness for the learning Vietnamese people. Students come here to get motivated before the upcoming important exam. Quoc Tu Giam has also been chosen for organizing the complimentary ceremonies, events on holiday, be the icon of Ha Noi city. The following destination is the Ho Chi Minh complex, an important place for pilgrimage, which has built to honor and express gratitude to Uncle Ho. The most important part of the complex is the Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, where preserved Uncle Ho’s corpse for people all over the country and international visitors to visit their beloved old father. In front of the mausoleum is the Ba Dinh square. It has preserved many imprints of great events of the Vietnamese nation. On September 2, 1945, at this Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence that gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. And then you will come to visit the Presidential Palace, a large French design building used as the workplace of the president. Behind the Presidential Palace is the Ho Chi Minh's Residence. This place will show you how simple the president live in his whole life. Another signature place in the complex is One Pillar Pagoda, a strange architectural style pagoda built from 1049. And the final place will be the Ho Chi Minh Museum, a place to express gratitude and eternal memory of the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh Continue to West Lake to visit Tran Quoc pagoda and Quan Thanh temple, one of the Thang Long four sacred temples. You will know more about the Taoism culture of Vietnam and enjoy the picturesque view of the biggest natural lake in Hanoi. In the afternoon, you will visit the fascinating Ethnology Museum (close on Monday), which is both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. Besides visiting indoor and outdoor objects demonstrating the Vietnamese culture of 54 ethnic groups, you can join many interesting activities such as traditional festive, water puppet... In late the afternoon, visiting Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the ‘36 streets’. Take a walk around Hoan Kiem lake and the other streets. The bustling narrow streets will show you thousand of businesses and shopkeepers. "36 streets" used to wellcome artisans and traders from villages around Ha Noi from 2000 years ago. The streets were named for what they sold.
DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B,L,D)
After having breakfast, the driver and English speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at Hanoi to Ha Long through a 3 hours journey by private car, the wonder of the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, the boat crew will welcome you and transfer you to the guest lounge for check-in. And then, you will get on a boat to start your cruise trip around the wonderful Ha Long Bay. After having a delicious lunch with seafood and relax, the journey will start from discovering signature caves. The caves at Ha Long are located around the bay, you can stand at one to view another and the whole bay. After discovering the wild beauty of the cave, you will return to the boat to prepare for an adventure activity, it's kayaking. You will immerse yourself in nature by floating in the middle of the sea, enjoy peaceful moments and temporarily forget the daily life. After kayaking, you can come up to the deck, have some light drink and watch the sunset before dinner has been served. In the late evening, you can take part in an interesting activity of local people, night fishing. Overnight on boat.
DAY 4: HALONG - HANOI - fly to HUE (B,L)
Having breakfast and enjoy relaxing moments while floating on the boat. You can lie on the deck, tasting coffee and feel the very last moment of the trip. Or you can join a cooking class, which teaches you how to make spring rolls, a Vietnamese traditional food. The final lunch will be served on boat before arriving at the main dock, then you will get back to Hanoi and go to the airport to flying to Hue. Overnight in Hue Meal: Breakfast/ BR
DAY 5: HUE IMPERIAL CITY & EMPEROR'S TOMBS (B,L)
Heading out of town to outskirt of Hue to visit the ancient tomb of Vietnam's emperor. Being the last great tomb from the Nguyen dynasty, The Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh's Royal Tomb consists of many royal tombs. One of those belonged to Khai Dinh, who built his final resting place to be monumental in style and bombastic in execution. It has mixed architecture of Western and Asia, modern and traditional Vietnam. The tomb clearly reflects the past period and the characteristic of Khai Dinh king, and the story behind it has always been the key attractive point for tourists to come and find out. Tu Duc tomb is a complex system of the pavilion, temple, chamber, courtyard and personal palace. Tuc Duc’s Tomb is a symbol of himself, portraying one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Emperor: having majesty, power, but no less elegance and grace. The beautiful scenery of the tomb looks like various colored classic paintings with small bridges crossing the flowered lake, green shades and a peaceful atmosphere, which attracts tourists from all over the world. Return to the city center and have lunch then following places will be Imperial City of Hue: Citadel of Hue has a variety of structures with the royal style. You will explain about the history of 13 reigns of Nguyen Emperor, visit the palace where king and queen live. Cruise on the beautiful Perfume River by dragon boat and viewing Thien Mu pagoda, the daily activities of other people, visit the sampan village and enjoy the sunset on the Perfume River.
DAY 6: HUE - DANANG - GOLDEN BRIDGE - HOI ANB (B/L)
Hit the road southward to Da Nang, we will stop at Lang Co beach to have a break and take some photos. Lang Co is an 8km white sandbank, mixing with the natural scenery of Hue forming a mysterious picture. The peaceful and charming of the fishing village and the beaches will win the heart of tourist. After that, we take you over the beautiful Hai Van Pass - Vietnam geographical and psychological boundary between the North and the South. Hai Van attracts the tourist by the scenery of mountain hiding in the cloud, curvy road surrounding from the bottom to the top, it's a great place for the adventurer to conquer and test self-limit. Before reaching Hoi An, we will explore Da Nang by visiting Ba Na Hills. Leave Peak of Chua Mountain, visits the trail of Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Water fall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valle, Golden Bridge – the hands supporting the gold bridge, to keep the sky in Da Nang – Vietnam. DAY 7: HOI AN - ANCIENT TOWN & COUNTRY SIDE (B,L)
Start this morning with a biking trip to Cam Thanh Village. Stop to take some beautiful photos. Arrive at the village of fishermen Van lang-Cam Thanh. - Arrive at the village, embark on a sampan bamboo basket: rowing competition, practice of fishing technique. Take a little rest in the house of fisherman (Mr. Phong) with the welcome green tea, a beautiful walk in the village to see the daily activities of fishermen. - Continue biking to the Tra Que herbal village passing through the rice fields, fishponds…A quick stop at the local market - Ba The where local people exchange their self-consumption in the region. Hoi an travel - Tra-Que-Herb-Village - Arrive home gardener (Mr Chinh), you are delighted to be a real gardener by working in the field with the skill, patience (raking, fertilizing, cultivating and watering soil). Back to Mr Chinh’s home. Relax by a foot massage with medicinal herbs that planted in the family garden. Prepare vegetables and herbs from Tra Que, small pratice of cooking the dishes: crispy pancake (meat, shrimp, beansprouts…), spring rolls of Hoi An, Tam Huu, grilled fish in banana leaf… Enjoy the dishes you made. After that, biking back to the ancient town. We will discover Hoi An Ancient Town to see how the traditions of the past are treasured in the present in town along the Thu Bon River. - Touring Hoi An's historic highlights such as well-preserved, centuries-old streets, dwellings, temples and pagodas; Explore its shop-lined streets, view the red-painted Japanese Covered Bridge - the three Chinese characters over the door mean "bridge for passers-by from afar" and Meet the 200-year-old "Phung Hung" house, noted for its unique architecture. DAY 8: HOI AN -fly to SAIGON - CITY TOUR (B)
Start your day with the right foot with a delicious breakfast to get you going. Then, your driver will take you to Cam Ranh Airport, where you will take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City Upon arrival in HCMC, We start your morning with a nice tour in Ho Chi Minh City. Our start point is the world-famous Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Then we explore the incredible Reunification Place, and the War Remnants Museum of high historical importance. After that you will enjoy of a tasty lunch at a local restaurant. Break time for a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, so you can be full of energy for the afternoon trip to the fascinating Cu Chi tunnels. This destination is one of the most popular for both local and foreign tourists, and it is because it is a stunning network of tunnels of over 200 kilometers. They are legendary because they were a key role in the war. And afterwards it goes back to Saigon. After that incredible tour, you will be able to eat a tasty dinner in any of the local restaurants. DAY 9: SAIGON - CU CHI TUNNEL - CAO DAI TEMPLE (B,L)
Our tour today includes visiting the legendary network of underground combat tunnels in Cu Chi, where our guide will explain how the Vietcong survived and fought during the Vietnam war. Later we travel to the opulent Holy See Temple in Tay Ninh to see the noon service of Cao dai Sect adherents. Cao dai is a fascinating Vietnamese religion combining aspects of Christian, Buddhism, Muslim, Taoism and Confucius into a single religion. After we have a tasty lunch of "Vietnamese food" in a local restaurant before returning to our hotel in Saigon.
DAY 10: SAIGON - Mekong Delta - BEN TRE (B,L)
Pick up to Hung Vuong Pier (Ben Tre city). Take a boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River, Sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring...Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking. Visit one of the plenty of coconut processing workshops where the people to open coconut by hand (husking coconut), coconut candies are made and have a chance to learn the coconut candies making process located along canal (Ms Lan coconut candy workshop), taste tropical fruit, honey tea. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Take a walk to family workshop making sleep mats. Afterward, being on a cart powered by a motorbike and traveling through some tranquil villages where vegetables gardens to be able to touch on real life and find out about tropical culture from Peasants. DAY 11: SAIGON - DEPARTURE (B)
There is free time for you to relax or further explore Ho Chi Minh city. The trip ends after your transfer to International Airport for departure.
