Day 1:
Hue Imperial City & Emperor’s Tombs (L)
Our guide will pick you up at the hotel to visit the ancient tomb of Vietnam’s kings. The first stop will be The Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh’s Royal Tomb which consists of many royal tombs. One of those belonged to Khai Dinh, who built his final resting place to be monumental in style and bombastic in execution. It has mixed architecture of Western and Asia, modern and traditional Vietnam. Tu Duc tomb is our next stop which is a complex system of the pavilion, temple, chamber, courtyard, and personal palace and is also a symbol of himself, portraying one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s emperors with majesty, power but elegance, and grace. Afterward, make our way to the Citadel which has a variety of structures in the royal style. Our guide will explain in depth the history of the 13 reigns of the Nguyen Emperor while seeing the tombs. Then, take a romantic dragon boat trip on the Perfume River in front of Thien Mu pagoda to enjoy the sunset.
Day 2:
Da Nang- Golden Bridge- Hoi An (B, L)
On the ride from Da Nang to Hue, we will stop at Lang Co beach for breakfast and a short break. The beach is 8km long with a white sandbank and a mixture of the natural scenery of Hue forming a mysterious picture and the charm of the fishing village. After that, we will make our way to Hue by driving through the famous Hai Van pass. This mountain pass is one of the world’s greatest coastal stretches. From the top, we can see jungle topped mountains slope down into the sea, shaping uninhabited bays, and forging waterfalls. Before reaching Hoi An, we will stop in Da Nang to visit Ba Na Hills, Chua Mountain, and the Dreaming Stream. Cannot miss the famous Golden Bridge which achieves many rewards for its impressive design. This bridge was built at a height of 1.400m above sea level and features a harmonious blend of groundbreaking architecture and spectacular nature. Return to Hoi An where we will stay for the night.
Day 3:
Charming Hoi An (B, L)
Our morning starts with a visit to the Japanese Covered Bridge which was first constructed in the 1590s by linking it with the Chinese quarters. Following Tran Phu street, we will get to The Assembly Halls.
