Day 1: Hanoi Arrive (D)
Our guide and driver will pick you up at the airport at xx: xx, be aware of the person with the pickup signboard. And then heading to the center of Hanoi to start the city tour. We start with Ho Chi Minh complex, an important place for pilgrimage, which has built to honor and express gratitude to Uncle Ho. The most important part of the complex is the Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, where preserved Uncle Ho’s corpse for people all over the country and international visitors to visit their beloved old father. And then you will come to visit the Presidential Palace, a large French design building used as the workplace of the president. This place will show you how simple the president live in his whole life. Another signature place in the complex is One Pillar Pagoda, a strange architectural style pagoda built from 1049. And the final place will be the Ho Chi Minh Museum, a place to express gratitude and eternal memory of the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh. We will continue to The Temple of Literature. It's not only the first university in Vietnam, but it always is the fire to light up the traditional fondness for the learning Vietnamese people. Day 2: Ha Noi – Mai Chau - Tribe's Villages (B,L,D)
Begin your day with a morning pickup from your hotel in central Hanoi and soak up the scenery as you drive west into the hills of Northern Vietnam. From Hanoi to Mai Chau through a 3.5 hours journey by private car. You will travel uphill through some beautiful pass, which provides a panoramic view down to the valley. Arrive at Mai Chau around midday, following the tour guide to a traditional stilt house, where you will be served a scrumptious lunch with local people. After lunch, take part in a leisure cycling tour to explore the countryside in Mai Chau. You will visit some small stilt houses of the Thai minority to learn their culture, customs and habits. Seeing the demonstration of local handicraft and try to make one for yourself. After all the activity, we back to hotel and check in. In the evening, you will enjoy the dinner with a bottle of local traditional wine, call "Ruou Can". It is made of fermented glutinous rice mixed with several kinds of herbs from the local forests. It stores in a large jar, people use a long slim bamboo tube to enjoy the wine together. You can also spend a performance show about the local tradition of having a camp-fire. Overnight in Mai Chau. Day 3: Mai Chau – Pu Luong (B,L,D)
After having breakfast and a relaxing morning, we will go to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, a mountainous area with terrace fields, wild forests and the local houses of the friendly Thai minority. Upon arrival at Pu Luong, we will have lunch at Ban Hang village. Transfer to a suspension bridge over the Cham River and begin an easy trekking in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes. Overnight in homestay in Pu Luong. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4: Pu Luong – Half day trekking (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will follow your tour guide to join a trekking tour to discover the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. This area has a natural flavor, which is cool in summer and warm in winter. The people here are hospitable, which mostly is the Thai Trang minority and the other is Muong minority. The culture of these minorities is well preserved through their daily activities. Have lunch with local family, then transfer back to your homestay. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight night in Pu Luong Meal: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 5: Pu Luong – Ninh Binh (B,L)
After breakfast, e will transfer to Ninh Binh, first we arrive at Hoa Lu, Hoa Lu is the ancient capital of Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as one of four main areas of Trang An World Heritage Site complex. Here we will spend about an hour to visit temples of two Vietnamese dynasties of Dinh and Le with very unique architecture in the old time. Pick up information about the ancient culture of the Royal Palaces ground dated 10th century. Then we will make a short transfer Van Lam village, you get on a bamboo boat rowed by the local villager to explore the stunning scenery of Tam Coc. UNESCO has recognized Tam Coc to be the World Natural Heritage Site in 2014 and made this place become a famous destination in Ha Noi- Ho Chi Minh Tour. Boating along Ngo Dong river, you will be able to explore for the "Indochine" film-setting. The beauty of the area has attracted millions of French tourists since then. Continue cruising under the astonishing limestone cliffs, you will get to Hang Ca - first cave with the river going through. The cave is 132m long as you can see from our photo on the right side. Leaving the 2nd cave, your boat will head to Hang Ba - the final cave. After lunch serve at a local restaurant, we will have a short a biking trip around the countryside of Van Long natural reserve. Overnight in Ninh Binh. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 6: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay – Overnight on Cruise (B,L,D)
With 3.5-hour-drive to Halong Bay, the wonder of the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, the boat crew will welcome you and transfer you to the guest lounge for check-in. And then, you will get on a boat to start your cruise trip around the wonderful Ha Long Bay. After having a delicious lunch with seafood and relax, the journey will start from discovering signature caves. The caves at Ha Long are located around the bay, you can stand at one to view another and the whole bay. After discovering the wild beauty of the cave, you will return to the boat to prepare for an adventure activity, it's kayaking. You will immerse yourself in nature by floating in the middle of the sea, enjoy peaceful moments and temporarily forget the daily life. After kayaking, you can come up to the deck, have some light drink and watch the sunset before dinner has been served. In the late evening, you can take part in an interesting activity of local people, night fishing. Overnight on board.
Day 7: Halong – Hanoi (B,Brunch)
In the morning, your breakfast will be served while floating on the sea to explore the beauty of Halong Bay before disembarking time. Joining some more activities on boat and then checking out cabin, getting back to the main dock and back to Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi Departure (B)
There is free time for you to relax or further exploring Hanoi City. The trip ends after your transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for departure. End of Service!
