    Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival – Street food tour (D)

    Upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our guide and driver will be there to pick you up and then drive you to your hotel. Check-in your hotel, put off your luggages, and get some rest.

    Then, we begin the food tour around 6 o’clock in the afternoon to discover the most interesting thing in Vietnam. That’s street food tour. First of all, we will go Ho Thi Ky Flower market walking all around and enjoying street food (BBQ, skewers, mixed rice paper, fruits…) inside the market. Then we will go straight to Chinatown, we will stop a Vietnamese Chinese Herbal tea shop and visit Cha Tam Church (A 300 years catholic Church). From here you can choice so many thing: Dumpling in a local shop, Pho, Broken rice, Banh Xeo, Pancake with egg… Then we will be back to Nguyen Hue walking street. You might get tired already, so we will have a beer/juice or smoothies in Bui Vien walking street or you can join a sky bar in De Tham. Back to your hotel and finish your day.

    Day 2: Ho Chi Minh half-day city tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)

    After having breakfast, our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel, then make our way to the War Remnants Museum where we can be informed about the US invasion of Vietnam, and its absorbing exhibits give visitors an invaluable insight into a defining chapter in the Vietnam war’s history. Departure to Reunification Palace which was named in global history in 1975 and was built for the South Vietnam Government during the Vietnam-American War. After that, we will visit the famous French architecture Notre Dame Cathedral, and General Post Office.

    Depart to Cu Chi tunnel is one of the best things to do while we are in the South, not only for its location but also for its location with an extraordinary history. Allow half an hour for the introduction to the history of Cu Chi and its creation and purposes. Enjoy a guided walk in the jungle, crawl into the tunnels and visit some permitted areas of the systems including living areas and martial facilities before heading back to Ho Chi Minh.

    Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh – Fly to Nha Trang (B/L)

    After having breakfast, we travel to Hung Vuong Pier in Ben Tre. Take a boat at Ben Tre River for sight-seeing lively activities along the river such as fishing, and water transfer. We will stop at the most popular places for handicraft workshops including a craft brickyard where the locals still use centuries-old traditional methods to handmade bricks, process coconut into many different forms, and weave mats with the aid of dried reeds and a huge loom. A local Xe Loi (motorized rickshaw) will take us into a tropical garden where we can taste the exotic tropical fruit and enjoy our homemade lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon lounging on a sampan boat rowing through Ben Tre’s iconic backwaters with water palms and coconut trees. Then our driver will take you back to Ho Chi Minh for a flight to Nha Trang.

    Day 4: Nha Trang: Diving tour (B/L)

    At 08:00: you will be pick up at your hotel to travel to Cau Da Pier, then heading to Hon Mun Island. Upon arrival, it is time to relax over refreshments, enjoy fresh fruit and have some drink. Then the dive sites will be chosen depending on daily conditions, snorkel briefings will be conducted and activities will begin. Enjoy snorkeling, diving under the supervision of our professionals. Lunch will be served with light meals such as fresh sandwich, cupcakes, snacks, …

    At 14:00, we go back to Nha Trang.

    Day 5: Nha Trang – Fly to Danang – Hoi An (B)

    Enjoy your last time on Nha Trang beach. Then our driver will come and transfer you to the airport for a flight to Danang. Arrive in Danang, the tour guide and driver will come to take you to Hoi An ancient town.

    Day 6: My Son Holly Land – Hoi An half-day city tour (B/L)

    After your compliment breakfast, you will be pick up at your hotel to travel to My Son Holly Land. The narrow valley at My Son, which was constructed about 900 years ago, consists of 70 monuments of ancient Champa art. This place used to be a religious ceremony site for the Champa’s kings and national heroes. Take 2 hours- mini-tour to explore and enjoy the wonderful architecture of the ancient Champa kingdom.

    After lunch, take a walk through Hoi An town, seeing remarkably well-preserved traditional houses that have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all over the world. The next destination is the Japanese Covered Bridge, one of two such bridges in Vietnam. This beautiful bridge was first constructed in the 1590s by linking it with the Chinese quarters. Following Tran Phu street, you will reach The Assembly Halls. There are 4 Assembly Halls in Hoi An which you can find when walking along Tran Phu Street. Each of those Halls has belonged to a Chinese community who has their own beliefs, different assembly halls worship different gods and goddesses. Visit a local family making lanterns brings you a chance to try making some special souvenirs for friends and beloved before ending this trip.

    Day 7: Hoi An – Drive to Hue (B/L)

    After enjoy breakfast, hopping in your car and travel from Hoi An to Hue city. On the way, we take you over the beautiful Hai Van Pass – Vietnam geographical and psychological boundary between the North and the South. Hai Van attracts the tourist by the scenery of mountain hiding in the cloud, curvy road surrounding from the bottom to the top, it’s a great place for the adventurer to conquer and test self-limit. After that, we will stop at Lang Co beach to have a break and take some photos. Lang Co is an 8km white sandbank, mixing with the natural scenery of Hue forming a mysterious picture. The peaceful and charming of the fishing village and the beaches will win the heart of tourist.

    On the way to Hue, you can choose to visit Ba Na Hill complex in Da Nang. We will hop on one of the cable cars which achieves two Guinness World Records for the longest non-stop single-track cable car (5,042m) and the highest difference in elevation between the top and bottom station (1,292m). The ride offers us a spectacular view of the endless tree line, lush jungle, and Fairy Waterfalls along the way. Once we get to the first stop, feel free to visit Le Jardin Garden, Debay wine cellar, French village, and Linh Ung Pagoda. We can’t miss the famous Golden Bridge which achieves many rewards for its impressive design. This bridge was built at a height of 1.400m above sea level and features a harmonious blend of groundbreaking architecture and spectacular nature. Get on the second cable car to the top of the mountain where we will have a leisure walk or challenge our limits with the Peak of Chua Mountain at a height of 1,487m. Visit the trail of Dreaming Stream, the rainbow Waterfall. We will leave for Hoi An at the end of the day.

    Day 8: Hue city tour – Boat on Perfume River (B)

    Having your breakfast at your hotel, then you will be pick up at your hotel to visit the ancient tomb of Vietnam’s kings. Being the last great tomb from the Nguyen dynasty, The Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh’s Royal Tomb consists of many royal tombs. One of those belonged to Khai Dinh, who built his final resting place to be monumental in style and bombastic in execution. It has mixed architecture of Western and Asia, modern and traditional Vietnam. The tomb clearly reflects the past period and the characteristic of Khai Dinh king, and the story behind it has always been the key attractive point for tourists to come and find out. Then, visit Tu Duc tomb which is a complex system of the pavilion, temple, chamber, courtyard and personal palace. Tuc Duc’s Tomb is a symbol of himself, portraying one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Emperor: having majesty, power, but no less elegance and grace. The beautiful scenery of the tomb looks like various colored classic paintings with small bridges crossing the flowered lake, green shades and a peaceful atmosphere, which attracts tourists from all over the world.

    Depart to Citadel which has a variety of structures with the royal style. You will explain about the history of 13 reigns of Nguyen Emperor, visit the palace where king and queen live.

    In the end of day, you will have a cruise on the beautiful Perfume River by dragon boat and viewing Thien Mu pagoda, the daily activities of other people, visit the sampan village along the Perfume River.

    Day 9: Hue – DMZ Tour – Quang Binh (B/L)

    8:00: you will be pick up at your hotel to travel to Quang Tri province.

    Firstly, we will visit the Khe Sanh Combat Base. It was a US marine outpost used during the Vietnam War. This site was esteemed to have great strategic importance to American forces as it gave them control of Highway 9, a position to sever the Ho Chi Minh Trail and stop the NVA (North Vietnamese Army) from entering from their bases in Laos.

    Then we move to the Ben Hai River, passing the Hien Luong bridge. This is the borderline between the North and the South of Vietnam. Hien Luong Bridge was built by the French in 1950, and it took 21 years for Vietnamese people from the North and the South to be united.

    We move to the complex of Vinh Moc tunnel located deep in the DMZ and sheltered Vinh Linh county people from the intense bombing. The tunnels were a success in saving the villagers’ lives and providing them the necessary living conditions to fight back the American enemy.

    We will drive to your hotel in Quang Binh at the end of the day.

    Day 10: Quang Binh – Phong Nha – Ban Doong Village – Hang En (B/L/D)

    This day you need to wake up early. Our driver will come to transfer you to the meet point from 07:30 to 08:00 AM. There you will listen to the safety briefing, sign the release form, pack your bag and receive the necessary safety equipment.

    After departing from Oxalis Phong Nha office, the group starts with a jungle trek, hiking down a steep hill to reach a branch of the Rao Thuong Stream leading to the only village located in the core zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

    After about 1 and a half hours of walking and wading through streams, the group will arrive at Doong Village – the home of the minority ethnic community living deep in the jungle. The group will stop for lunch at the village and learn about the life of the people here before continuing the trek to Hang En camp. Continuing walking through the jungle, crossing the

    river many times, the group will reach Hang En after about 3 hours. There everyone will be equipped with helmets, turn on the headlamps and start climbing the rocky section to explore the cave. Standing on the top of the rocky slope, you will see the entire Hang En Cave camp and the mesmerizing surrounding scenery. After receiving your tent, you can enjoy swimming in the turquoise lake next to the camp, before enjoying delicious food right in the cave.

    Day 11: Hang En – Phong Nha – Quang Binh – Fly to Hanoi (B/L)

    After breakfast, the group continues, climbing up the rocks behind the camp in a cave, exploring and learning more interesting facts of nature’s masterpiece in Quang Binh Province, and admiring the stalagmites and stalactites. At the back of the cave, a new view of the Hang En campsite opens up. Save some precious memories of this unique place.

    After wading through the underground streams, you will reach the large sandy floor of the gigantic cave exit. The group will return through the cave to the underground camp to have lunch and a short break. The group will then leave the cave, for the final challenge of wading through many streams and climbing a steep hill around 450m high. At the top of the hill is the road and a bus with cold beverages ready to welcome you back after all the challenges in your caving adventure to discover the wonderful Hang En.

    Our driver and tour guide are waiting to transfer you the airport for flying to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and move you to your hotel in the centre of Hanoi city. Put off your luggages, check-in and enjoy your night.

    Day 12: Hanoi city tour (B/L)

    After having breakfast, the first destination is the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam. It’s not only the first university in Vietnam, but it always is the fire to light up the traditional fondness for the learning Vietnamese people. Students come here to get motivated before the upcoming important exam. Quoc Tu Giam has also been chosen for organizing the complimentary ceremonies, events on holiday, be the icon of Ha Noi city. The second destination is the Ho Chi Minh complex, an important place for pilgrimage, which has built to honor and express gratitude to Uncle Ho. The most important part of the complex is the Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, where preserved Uncle Ho’s corpse for people all over the country and international visitors to visit their beloved old father. In front of the mausoleum is the Ba Dinh square. It has preserved many imprints of great events of the Vietnamese nation. On September 2, 1945, at this square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence that gave

    birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. And then you will come to visit the Presidential Palace, a large French design building used as the workplace of the president. Behind the Presidential Palace is the Ho Chi Minh’s Residence. This place will show you how simple the president live in his whole life. Another signature place in the complex is One Pillar Pagoda, a strange architectural style pagoda built from 1049. And the final place will be the Ho Chi Minh Museum, a place to express gratitude and eternal memory of the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh. Continue to West Lake to visit Tran Quoc pagoda and Quan Thanh temple, one of the Thang Long four sacred temples. You will know more about the Taoism culture of Vietnam and enjoy the picturesque view of the biggest natural lake in Hanoi.

    In the afternoon, you will visit the fascinating Ethnology Museum (close on Monday), which is both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. Besides visiting indoor and outdoor objects demonstrating the Vietnamese culture of 54 ethnic groups, you can join many interesting activities such as traditional festive, water puppet… The day ends beautifully with 1 hour on the cyclo to discover the alive Hanoi 36 streets in the Old Town. The bustling narrow streets will show you thousand of businesses and shopkeepers. “36 streets” used to wellcome artisans and traders from villages around Ha Noi from 2000 years ago. The streets were named for what they sold. You enjoy water puppet show in the late evening.

    Day 13: Hanoi – Pu Luong (B/L/D)

    This day you will wake up early and having breakfast at your hotel, then our driver wil pick you up to go to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. It takes nearly 5 hours driving to Pu Luong included 1 stop for short break on the way. Arrival in Pu Luong Reserve nature by the mid-afternoon Then we will trek 6 kms (about 3 hours) inside the Pu Luong Nature Reserve (trails and trek is suitable for everyone). Follow the small roads through the rice terraces to visit the remote rural villages of Black Thai Minorities to discover the local lifestyle and explore Kho Muong local Cave which is the largest natural unspoiled cave in Pu Luong. Definitely you will be surprised at its beauty.

    Day 14: Pu Luong – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi (B/L)

    After breakfast, our driver and tour guide take you to Ninh Binh – the World Natural Heritage Site, offering a great experience in the lush countryside along the high way No1. Our first destination is Hoa Luthe ancient capital of Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as one of four main areas of Trang An World Heritage Site complex. Here we will spend about an hour to visit temples of two Vietnamese dynasties of Dinh and Le with very unique architecture in the old time. Pick up information about the ancient culture of the Royal Palaces ground dated 10th century.

    We do a short transfer to transfer, you get on a bamboo boat rowed by the local villager to explore the stunning scenery of Tam Coc. UNESCO has recognized Tam Coc to be the World Natural Heritage Site in 2014 and made this place become a famous destination in Ha Noi – Ho Chi Minh Tour. Boating along Ngo Dong river, you will be able to explore for the “Indochine” film-setting. The beauty of the area has attracted millions of French tourists since then. Continue cruising under the astonishing limestone cliffs, you will get to Hang Ca – first cave with the river going through. The cave is 132m long. Leaving the 2nd cave, your boat will head to Hang Ba – the final cave. Then we heading back to your hotel in Hanoi for relaxing at the and of the day.

    Day 15: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, you’ll take a 2.5-hour drive to Halong Bay, one of the great nature of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, the boat crew will welcome you and transfer you to the junk for check-in and enjoy a cruise around Halong Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. At the same time, you can behold thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from the clear, emerald water.  After lunch, you’ll join some activities on the boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visiting a cave, kayaking, or enjoy swimming in the sea before getting back to the junk for relaxing and dining. In the evening, you can join night fishing with locals. Overnight on board.

    Day 16: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Ho Chi Minh (B/Br)

    In the morning, your breakfast will be served while floating on the sea to explore the beauty of Halong Bay before disembarking time. Joining some more activities on boat and then checking out cabin. The early lunch will be served before getting back to the main dock and the driver will transfer to the airport in Hanoi for a flight to Ho Chi Minh for overnight.

    3. BOOKING AMENDMENT

    You can amend your booking anytime once the confirmation is made. All the amendments are only accepted by email, so please contact us at team@ftripvietnam.com with your booking number. Our reservations team is glad to amend your booking accordingly.

    If there is any extra expense, the team will inform you before you decide to amend the services or travel date.

    4. TRAVEL INSURANCE:

    Travel insurances, including travel cancellation insurance, shall be taken out by you in so far as they are not included in the travel price and shown in the description of performance. We strongly recommend that each traveler takes out travel insurance to cover cancellation, holiday abandonment, personal liability, and also travel medical insurance. We can suggest you the insurance carrier case by case according to your references

    5. PASSPORT, VISA, CURRENCY, CUSTOMS, AND HEALTH REGULATIONS:

    Each traveller shall carry a passport which is valid for at least six months offer the end of travel.

    It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa and all travel documents are valid for travel.

    You are responsible for adherence to all rules and regulations that are important for travel. All disadvantages, in particular the payment of withdrawal costs resulting from not following these rules and regulations, shall be imposed on you.

    6. CANCELLATIONS POLICY:

    A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of US$100 per person upon the package’s tours or any other services confirmation.

    Cancellations will be charged as follow:

    • Cancellations made after booking confirmation or more than 30 days before departure date: Non-refundable deposit charge and the cancelation fees applied by the concerned suppliers such as flight, boat, cruise, hotel, etc. by their cancellation policies if any.
    • Cancellations made between 16 and 30 days before departure date: 50% of the total booking cost will be charged or loss of deposit plus the number of penalties charged by hotels or car operators by their cancellation policies if any. All penalties will be itemized.
    • Cancellations made between 7 and 15 days before departure date: 70% of the total booking cost will be charged or loss of deposit plus the number of penalties charged by hotels or car operators by their cancellation policies if any. All penalties will be itemized.
    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure date or No-Show: 100% of the total booking cost will be charged.

    Refund of Unused Services during traveling:

    • No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced or during the tour.

    7. FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE

    We may cancel a trip at any time before departure due to such events of force majeure as terrorism, natural disasters, war, fire, or other external events which are not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. In case such events happen, we are responsible for immediately informing the client and refunding the full amount that you have paid. The client can also transfer the paid amount to an alternate departure date if the operation condition is permitted.

    Special conditions: This policy may vary for holiday and peak season bookings and depending on the cancellation policies of hotels, airlines, cruises and other contractors of Ftrip Vietnam Travel.

    Besides my unlimited passion for traveling, a professional tour guide for over a decade, I have been taking photographs since sitting at Hanoi of the University of Culture in the early 2000s. Photography started as a hobby but it was seriously taken due to my work relations and my significant passion for the beauty of our world, especially in Southeast Asian parts such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

    Within a few years of taking photographs, my works began to be recognized by many reliable international publications such as AFAR Travel, The Times, and The Daily Telegraph newspaper. In addition, I continuously add to my growing profile by winning numerous major awards: 3rd Position of The Independent Photographer 2018, 1st Position of Amateur Photographer of the year 2018, Grand Prize Winner of the AFAR Travel Photography 2019, and a Gold Award of San Francisco Bay International Photography 2020.

    I photograph a wide variety of subjects, from travel to landscapes to street scenes. I enjoy documenting the East’s rich cultural heritage and its land soaked in glorious sunrise or sunset light in remote and secluded spots.
