Day 1: Welcome to Sai Gon!
Our guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and drop off your bags and get some rest. (Our first-day schedule could be created and modified to meet your time of arrival)
Day 2: Sai Gon- Speedboat to Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L)
Soak up the city’s rich historical and cultural tapestry as your tour goes through the world-famous Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. Visit the incredible Reunification Place which was named in global history in 1975 and was built for the South Vietnam Government during the Vietnam-American War and the War Remnants Museum. After lunch, depart to the Cu Chi tunnels by a speedboat from Tan Cang Pier. Cu Chi tunnel is definitely one of the best things to do while we are in the South, not only for its location but also for its location with an extraordinary history. Allow half an hour for the introduction to the history of Cu Chi and its creation and purposes. Enjoy a guided walk in the jungle, crawl into the tunnels and visit some permitted areas of the systems including living areas and martial facilities before heading back to Sai Gon.
Day 3: Mekong Delta- Cai Be- Vinh Long (B, L)
After having breakfast, we will drive for about 2 hours to get to a local village by the Mekong River where we will take a short break before taking a motor-boat to enjoy the beautiful views of Mekong River with a vast network of canals and channels. There will be a chance to visit some local cottage industries such as pop-rice, rice papers, snake wine, and also a tropical fruit garden while listening to traditional Vietnamese music. The trip also includes a 5-course menu set of Vietnamese food for lunch. After that, we will head to Can Tho where you can have your afternoon free and relax.
Day 4: Cai Rang Floating Market- Sai Gon- Da Lat (B, L)
Our guide will take you to the biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta by boat in the early morning. The primary focus of Cai Rang market is wholesale trading rather than tourism. Spend a few hours to check out the goods and how it is processed. In the market, other smaller boats serve both residents and visitors with food and coffee. Make sure not to miss it! Before heading back to the hotel, we can cycle around the village to see the area and feel the warm hospitality of the locals. After lunch, we make our way to the airport flying to Da Lat.
Day 5: Da Lat Half Day city tour – Jeep car to Lang Biang Mountain (B, L)
In the morning, we will take you to Lang Biang Mountain to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the city by jeep car. If you wish to know about Lang Biang, it is considered to be the roof of Lam Vien highland at the height of 2,167m above sea level and is associated with a love story. Ask our guide for the story if you are interested. Lunch will be served at Radar peak where we admire the majestic panorama of Da Lat’s signature- vast pine forests covered by mist. In the afternoon, visit one of the most unique French monuments in Da Lat- Da Lat Railway Station which was designed by two French architects in 1932. The railway is no longer operating, it is used as a tourist attraction, exploring Crazy House- one of the strangest architectures in the world. Return to the hotel, the rest of the day is your free time.
Day 6: Da Lat- Datanla Waterfall- Nha Trang (B)
You might hear about Vietnamese coffee but might not know that Da Lat is a paradise for good quality coffee! So, take your time to enjoy your breakfast and a coffee at least. After that, we will visit the Datalan waterfall which has a wonderful deep natural pool in the middle of a pine forest and is surrounded by flowers. Return to the hotel and depart to Nha Trang. With just a 3-hour drive following road no. 723 from Da Lat to Nha Trang, the short journey offers a wonderful view of peaceful villages, majestic mountains hiding in the clouds, and a view of the sea.
Day 7: Nha Trang- Four Islands (B, L)
Nha Trang attracts millions of tourists annually for its famous sceneries, beautiful beaches, and exciting activities and is known as one of the best diving spots in the country. We start our tour at Hon Mun Island where we can sunbathe, swim and see the most beautiful coral reefs in Nha Trang. Head to Hon Mot Island, the smallest island in Nha Trang Bay with only 200 people living there. Besides the corals at the bottom of the sea and its beautiful white sands, the islands also attract tourists with their beautiful fruit gardens and local fisherman life. Rom island seems to be forgotten during the pandemic but the Tri Nguyen aquarium is still open.
Day 8: Nha Trang- Vinpear Land (B, L)
This morning, we will take a cable car from Nha Trang Bay to Vinpearl Land Amusement Park.
The park is divided into 6 main areas: Water Park, Outdoor game area, Indoor game area, aquarium, Movie Castle, and Performance Stage. Allow a sufficient amount of time to enjoy the park. We return back to Nha Trang in the late afternoon.
Day 9: Charming Hoi An (B, D)
The day begins with a walk through the old town to see remarkably well-preserved traditional houses that have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Visit a Japanese Covered Bridge which was first constructed in the 1590s by linking it with the Chinese quarters. Following Tran Phu street, we will get to The Assembly Halls. There are 4 Assembly Halls in Hoi An, each of those Halls belongs to a Chinese community that has its own beliefs, different assembly halls worship different gods and goddesses. On these tours, we’ll visit a local home on the outskirts of Hoi An to learn about the family’s long tradition of lantern-making.
Day 10: Hoi An- Coconut Forest & Rural village (B, L)
Going past the countryside through beautiful narrow roads, rice paddle fields, old temples, and water palm forests we get to Cam Than Coconut Forest. Here, we will explore seven hectares of the water palm forest and learn how to catch purple crab. Head to An My Paddy Field, then Tra Que village where we take our cooking class, learn how to make traditional rice milk, and have our delicious homemade lunch with a local family. After lunch, we shall meet local farmers, feel their warm hospitality and listen to the tour guide explain the process of planting rice. Return to the hotel, the rest of the day is your free time.
Day 11: Welcome to Hanoi (B, L)
Once tourists finish their breakfast, we will head to the first location, which is a spot that is strongly significant to Hanoi’s architecture and culture. This is also the first university in the North, where the names of poinsettias with outstanding academic achievements in Vietnam have been preserved since ancient times. After that, we will visit the mausoleum of the great President – Ho Chi Minh. You will embark the entire ensemble here including Uncle Ho’s resting place, the President’s former residence and workplace, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. One Pillar Pagoda is also a unique architecture built during the French period that you can visit.
Proceed to Quan Thanh Temple, a close destination situated on the scenic West Lake. Admire the splendor of Vietnamese religious culture within the enchanting surroundings of Hanoi’s largest natural lake.
After resting and having lunch, we will take you to the Museum of Ethnology with valuable works and research on Vietnamese culture and history. There will also be activities related to traditional festivals and water puppet shows for visitors to engage in. Ending exploration of Hanoi, there is nothing more complete than walking around the 36 old streets – a typical highlight of the capital. Slowly admiring the historic, exquisite beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake next beside bustling sidewalk is a thrilling experience that you will never forget.
Day 12: Spectacular (B, L, D)
One of the “cannot miss” destinations when visiting Vietnam is Ha Long Bay, the wonder of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, get on a cruise ship to start the journey around Ha Long Bay. It is no need to describe how amazing it is to see the spectacular landscapes with approximately 1600 limestone islands scattering the emerald green water surface and numerous natural caves. You will immerse yourself in nature by floating in the middle of the sea with a kayaking adventure. After kayaking, watch the sunset. I am sure being there at that magical hour will be a memorable experience for your trip. There will be drinks at the desk or interesting activities such as fishing with local people in the evening.
Day 13: Ha Long Bay- Ha Noi (B)
Enjoy your breakfast and the beauty of Ha Long Bay or join a cooking class that shows you how to make Vietnamese spring rolls and other traditional food before disembarking time. Return to Hanoi, the rest of your day is free.
Day 14: Farewell Hanoi (B)
Enjoy one last hearty breakfast with our travel companions, spend more time exploring the beauty of Hanoi, or get stuck in a souvenir shop before getting transferred to Noi Bai Airport where your journey with us ends.
